The choir began as the Spence Community Choir in Feb 2008 based at at St Paul's Ginninderra Anglican Church in Spence, ACT. In 2024, St Paul's Ginninderra moved to combine with St Barnabas at Charnwood and St Michael and All Angels at Hall. The new parish is called Hope Ginninderra Anglican, so the choir has become the Hope Ginninderra Community Choir.
The Choir now practices from 1-2pm on Thursdays at the RSL Coral Park Community Centre, 23 Burkitt Street, Page. See the Events page for a Google Maps view of where this is.
The Choir often performs at nursing homes and goes carolling each Christmas at the Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals.
Everyone is welcome even if you have never sung in a choir before. There is no audition required.
